On Wednesday the Kingsway tunnel under the Mersey (I think that is the Wallasey tunnel) was
shut during rush hour after a lorry spilled its load.
What was that load?

I was reminded of my entries earlier in the year about the stolen lorry of ice-cream and the stolen lorry of cadbury's flakes.
Now we have the topping!

This story reminds me of an incident in Kensington in the 1960's when a lorry load of custard crashed into a lorry load of jelly and sponge, just outside of where Wetherspoons is now, hundreds and thousands of people ran out of the Picturedrome cinema where we had been watching "hop a long cassidy" and we were all a trifle deaf for ages.
